Our 1st Grade Mustangs have officially completed their Human Body Unit! 🎉 To wrap up their learning, each class participated in a fun, hands-on culminating activity that put their knowledge to the test!
Students worked together to:
🫀 Identify why the heart is so important
🦴 Determine which organs and bones are connected to different body systems
🏃♀️ Explain why exercise is important for keeping our bodies healthy
🥦 Discuss how healthy food choices help our bodies grow and stay strong
A HUGE thank you to AdventHealth Sebring for generously donating the gowns and masks that helped make this special grade-level activity possible! Our Mustangs had a great time stepping into the role of doctors and putting their science knowledge into action! 🩺👩⚕️👨⚕️
And another big thank you to our Lead Doctors—our amazing 1st grade teachers! 🩺 They did a fantastic job leading the activities and helping our Mustangs understand just how incredible the human body really is!

🚲🏁🐎 THE PRE-K TRIKES ARE OUT OF THE GARAGE! ☀️🍂
As the weather gets cooler and more beautiful, our Mini Mustangs are taking full advantage of the great outdoors! 🌤️💨 Our Pre-K students are having a blast riding their trikes around the playground, enjoying fresh air, sunshine, and plenty of smiles! 😄
But before these little racers could hit the track, they needed a test ride! 🛠️🚲 A huge thank-you to our amazing Pre-K teachers and our incredible Plant Manager, Mrs. Sonia, for getting the trikes out of the “garage” and making sure everything was ready to roll! 👏❤️
With all this practice, these Mini Mustangs may just be ready for the 75th running of the 12 Hours of Sebring at Sebring International Raceway in March 2027! 🏁🏎️😂 We might have to start working on their pit crew skills next!

This week, our Mustangs joined public schools across the state of Florida in recognizing Celebrate Freedom Week. Each morning, following our Moment of Silence, a student speaker led our schoolwide reading of a passage from the Declaration of Independence.
📜 “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness. MUSTANGS ARE EXPLORING FLOWERS!
Our Mustangs are getting hands-on with science as they review important standards and take a closer look at the parts of a flower!
In Mrs. Wolfhope’s classroom, students are reviewing plant structures—including roots, stems, leaves, flowers, seeds, and fruit—and learning about the important roles each part plays in helping plants grow, survive, and reproduce.
Students are also reviewing the differences between flowering and nonflowering plants and discovering how different plants reproduce. Through observation, exploration, and inquiry, our Mustangs are learning that every part of a plant has a purpose!
