Weynie Vanga was selected as the HES Employee of the Month in recognition of her hard work in helping keep LPH clean and ready for students and staff. Every morning, Weynie can be found sweeping and mopping the halls in preparation for the day. She always has a smile on her face and is willing to assist teachers and staff whenever needed. LPHS is hosting the District Quarter Finals for Flag Football (6:00 p.m.) and Varsity Baseball (7:00 p.m.) tonight. Please note that the ticket cost is $8.00 for everyone (including children) per the FHSAA mandate. You cannot use passes for these events, but you may purchase tickets online at GoFan.co before the games.

⛳LPHS has a new home for our girls and boys' golf teams next year. We are excited to host our golf matches at Sebring International Golf Resort in Spring Lake. We want to thank Placid Lakes for the years of partnership and generosity they have provided us. Make sure you get a copy of next season's golf matches and come out to Sebring International Resort to watch us play.
Congratulations to our Mid Florida Roofing Services, Florida Lakes Spa, and Florida Lakes Surgical ATHLETE OF THE WEEK WINNER, Ricky Barajas! Ricky is a member of our varsity baseball team here at Lake Placid. Here is what Coach Zahller had to say, "Ricky threw a complete game and only gave up 3 runs on Monday nights victory over Discovery". Ricky also holds a 3.05 GPA in the classroom! Congrats, Ricky!

Leap into Learning Family Night" event sponsored by Title I for all SBHC Schools. Join our LPH Family April 10, 2025, from 5:15–7:15 PM at Memorial Elementary, 867 Memorial Drive, Avon Park, FL. All district families are invited. There will be lots of hands-on activities, resources, expert tips, information on Pre-K, Kindergarten registration, and summer programs.
